SpaceX sued for firing employees critical of Elon Musk

A US labor agency has accused SpaceX of illegally firing employees who wrote an open letter criticizing Elon Musk. The letter, in addition to citing other concerns in the workplace, calls on executives to condemn Musk's behavior at X (formerly Twitter) and hold everyone accountable for their unacceptable behavior. Musk's actions and behavior included the disclosure of allegations of sexual harassment against him, which the billionaire denied. The open letter states: "Elon Musk is considered the CEO and most prominent spokesperson and face of SpaceX, and therefore every tweet he publishes is considered a true statement from the company."

In this complaint, in addition to the dismissals, SpaceX is accused of interrogating other employees about this letter and it is said that the employees were fired for participating in the letter and that the employees were asked to resign if they disagreed with Elon Musk.

SpaceX's lawyers said in the lawsuit that the letter released by the employees has caused "significant confusion among SpaceX employees across the country."

The nine employees involved in the letter are said to have been fired for violating a number of company policies.
