Man arrested for videotaping 14-year-old victims in restrooms near University of Toronto
A Kitchener man has been arrested on multiple counts of eye-rolling near the University of Toronto. According to Toronto Police, University of Toronto Campus Security was made aware of a number of these incidents between July 2023 and October 2023 near Spadina Street and Wilcox Street. After reviewing the reports, police said a man had been loitering inside the women's restrooms and the restrooms shared by both women and men, sometimes placing his cell phone under the cubicles and recording images of the victims.
According to investigators, the victims were between 14 and 21 years old. Dong Pham, 28, of Kitchener, was arrested on Thursday on 11 counts, including five counts of pandering and six counts of mischief. The police have released photos of the suspect so that if there are more victims in this connection, they will report it to the police.
