Establishing a "pay-what-you-can" market in Toronto

As Canadians continue to struggle with rising food costs, a Toronto farmers' market plans to launch a "pay-what-you-can" (PWYC) model that aims to make it accessible to all. to healthy food regardless of their financial conditions.

Our Fair Share Farmers' Market in Dixon Hall allows customers to pay whatever they can for fresh produce, from as little as $5 to $20 or anything in between.

Held fortnightly starting August 15, the markets offer a surprising array of produce along with live music, family-friendly activities, hot food and drink.

Yen bazaar will continue on August 15 and 29 and September 12 and 26 from 3 pm until the end of the sale of products.

These events will be held outdoors at 190 Carlton Street and in inclement weather indoors at 188 Carlton Street.
