Canadian menswear giant Harry Rosen has died at the age of 92

Harry Rosen has been one of Canada's most prominent menswear chain stores for the past 92 years.
Rosen's eldest son confirmed his father's death in a statement on December 24.
"It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our founder and visionary, Harry Rosen," said Larry Rosen, chairman and CEO of Harry Rosen Inc. on Dec. 25.
Purchased in Toronto in 1954, Harry Rosen's retail chain grew from a custom store to a leading destination for high-end menswear with 15 locations and five stores across Canada.
"Harry started with a $500 loan and a dream, Harry wanted to build a customer base in his business," said Larry Rosen. The team he built and the values he instilled helped grow the business across the country, three generations and nearly 70 years. "Words cannot best sum up the impact he has had on us."
