Individual from Morocco charged after bomb threats made against Ontario schools

Freddie Mera has been linked to several bombings that occurred across Ontario in early November.
The police said that the threats against schools in the northern and eastern regions of the province were made on November 1.
They have also said that some "public facilities" have also been threatened.
According to the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), a person used money in a report detailing alleged explosives at these locations.
No bombs or incendiary devices were found by the police, as they were seen to be out of precaution or the building or building was closed.
Earlier this month, the OPP said they had a suspect in Morocco and they had "strong evidence" that the bomb threats were being made.
On December 27, police said a suspect - identified as El Hachem El Moussa, 45, of Casablanca - was being investigated in connection with the investigation.
"The OPP is consulting with the federal Ministry of Justice to determine how to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice," officials said in a news release.
