Canadian woman sets new record for deepest underwater modeling shoot
Part-time Montreal model Kim Bruno hit the beaches of Nassau in the Bahamas wearing a pink tutu and set a new Guinness World Record for underwater modeling.
Bruno, the photographer, and a large team of other people swam 130 feet to the bottom of the ocean. At that depth, Bruno removed his oxygen tank and mask and held his breath so the photographer could take a picture of him for the world record.
Every few minutes, someone brings an oxygen tank so Bruno can breathe some air. Then he would hold his breath again and get ready for photography. In total, the team photographed for 9 minutes at a depth of 130 feet and set a new Guinness World Record for the deepest underwater modeling shoot.
After 9 minutes, the team started to ascend and photographed at different depths. They photographed for a total of 37 minutes. "Posing in those depths without a mask or snorkel is a big challenge because the body tends to turn at different angles," said the team's photographer. You should pose while not breathing. "Bruno was so calm and relaxed that we thought we were 10 feet deep."
