A man wearing a pirate hat is wanted by Toronto police
On October 9th, the Toronto police are on the lookout for an individual who, wearing a combination of a pirate and cowboy hat, set fire to one of the stores in the Empress Walk shopping center located on Yonge Street and Empress.
Officers responded to a report of a fire at a store within the Empress Walk shopping center based on information received on that day.
Investigators are seeking public assistance in identifying a man who, according to witnesses, entered the store, set fire to products on a shelf, and fled the scene before authorities arrived.
Police have released photos and descriptions depicting a slender individual with a tricorn hat, dressed in an olive jacket, dark trousers, two-tone brown boots, and a black western-style hat adorned with a white skull and bone emblem, resembling a pirate's insignia.
