Street racing, speeding in construction zones lead to over $15,000 in fines: Quebec police

Driving at illegal speeds and participating in street races in the province of Quebec cost a few drivers dearly. The Quebec Provincial Police (SQ) succeeded in arresting the offending drivers during an operation, and a total of more than 15,000 dollars were fined for them.

Some of these drivers have been speeding in construction areas that require more caution. It should be noted that the fine for driving at high speed in such areas is doubled.
