Shoppers are finding boxes of Loblaws chip bags that weigh much less than advertised.
Have you ever checked the weight of your purchased products? Some customers in Ontario have reported that some packages of Cheerios flour and one type of potato chip have a Loblaw weight that is much lower than the weight printed on the package.
Weight error in Cheerios
General Mills Company has introduced an error in the double packaging of Honey Nut and Multigrain Quick Breakfast Cheerios. The weight printed on each box of beans is exactly twice the actual weight.
The mislabeled packages of the jumbo have been sold in Canadian stores for more than four months and are still on the shelves. "This needs to be fixed quickly," said a food industry consultant who reviewed the packaging. "The label must not be misleading to consumers, and it is very clear that labels must not be misleading."
