North Vancouver's Grouse Grind trail opening for the new season
In the latest news, the popular Grouse Grind trail in North Vancouver will be reopening later this week. The trail consists of 2,830 steps over 2.5 kilometers to the summit of Grouse Mountain. Registration is also open for the annual Multi-Grouse Grind Challenge, where participants attempt to break the record for the most climbs in a 19-hour period while raising funds for North Shore Rescue. This event will be the last chance to set a new record before the new gondola opens. Other events are also on the agenda at Grouse Mountain, including Seek The Peak on June 8 and the Grouse Grind Mountain Run on August 24. Visitors can purchase an annual Grouse Mountain pass for $249 or a regular pass for BC residents for $59.
