Free fireworks along the waterfront in Toronto on New Year's Eve
For New Year's Eve, you can head to Toronto's fireworks display, which is returning to the waterfront and is sure to be exciting. The City of Toronto has announced that 2024 will kick off with a fireworks event, and there will also be DJs, food trucks and live performances for a full night of fun.
Guests can head to Toronto Music Garden's Sharon Common or Harbor Square Park for the evening's events starting at 10 p.m. on December 31. The fireworks display starts at midnight and admission to all events is free.
Unlike previous years, City Hall and Nathan Phillips Square will not be hosting a fireworks display, but light and skating displays will be available to the public until 10 p.m. on December 31.
The City of Toronto recommends Sugar Beach Park, Littles Norway Park or HTO Park to watch the fireworks. If it's chilly but you still don't want to miss the New Year's countdown at midnight, the Toronto Municipal Culture Channel on YouTube will be streaming the event live.
Fireworks display time: January 1, 2024, 00:00
Location: Downtown Toronto Waterfront (Inner Harbour)
