Chopt chain store customer complaint due to finger in salad
A customer named Alison Cozy from Connecticut filed a complaint on April 7, 2023, against the Chopt chain store located in Mount Kisco, New York. While consuming a salad, she discovered a piece of a human finger in it, which she claims originated from the accidentally cut finger of a manager.
According to Cozy, the restaurant manager had sought medical attention, but a mix-up led to the arugula containing the finger being inadvertently handed to the customer. Health documents indicate that Chopt has been fined $900.
In her claim, Alison Cozy states that due to consuming this salad, she has suffered damages such as shock, panic attacks, migraines, cognitive disorders, nausea, dizziness, and neck and shoulder pain. She is now seeking financial compensation. Chopt, with over 70 branches in the eastern United States, is facing this lawsuit.
