A driver in Brampton was speeding for having a toilet
A driver from Caledon was arrested for driving at a speed more than 100 kilometers per hour above the legal limit, facing charges of reckless driving.
The Peel Regional Police, through a post on X social media platform, announced that on Tuesday night, officers stopped the targeted driver near Queen Street East and Goreway Drive in Brampton.
The police stated that the 26-year-old driver was stopped shortly after the start of snowfall. The speed of his car in an area with a speed limit of 60 kilometers per hour was 153 kilometers per hour.
According to the police, the driver's excuse for this excessive speed was that "he had to go to the bathroom."
The driver's license was suspended for 30 days, and his car was impounded for two weeks.
