Canadians will receive more financial aid from the government this summer
During the summer season, Canadian citizens can benefit from additional financial support from the government, including various benefits, credits, and reimbursements. The Goods and Services Tax/Harmonized Sales Tax (GST/HST) credit, designed to help low- to moderate-income individuals and families, will be distributed on July 5. Also, the Canada Child Benefit (CCB) is paid monthly in June, July and August to help with the costs of raising children. The Canada Workers' Credit (CWB), a refundable tax credit for low-income individuals and families, will be paid on July 12. Also, the Canadian Carbon Refund (CCR) aimed at offsetting federal pollution pricing will be distributed on July 15. These financial supports are provided to ease the financial burden on Canadians as food and housing prices continue to rise.
