The lucky winner of the $6 million Lotto Max lottery ticket bought his ticket in the Etobicoke area west of Toronto.

According to OLG, this prize is the best Lotto Max jackpot prize in the province of Ontario in 2025. The company announced in a statement:
"In 2024, a record-breaking 11 jackpot prizes in Ontario totaling $525 million."

In addition to this grand prize, a $1 million Encore ticket was also sold in Dufferin County.

The next Lotto Max draw worth $15 million will be held on January 24.

In 2009, Lotto Max players won a total of $8.9 billion, including 111 jackpot prizes and 937 MaxMillions prizes.
