A grandson was arrested for murdering his 90-year-old grandfather
A 32-year-old Toronto man is facing second-degree murder charges after he stabbed his 90-year-old grandfather to death at a home in Etobicoke in April, according to Toronto police. On April 28, they were called to a home in the area of Kipling Street and West Eglinton Street. Upon arrival, police encountered an elderly man with severe stab wounds. He was later pronounced dead.
The victim was identified as 90-year-old Antonio Alonzi from Toronto. 32-year-old Massimo Alonzi from Toronto was arrested on the spot as a suspect. Police confirmed that this person is the grandson of the victim. Alonzi now faces charges of second-degree murder.
