Years after scientists lost security clearances at top lab, there are still concerns about who has access

It's been years since two students at a high-level lab lose their security clearances due to security risks, but there's a question about who has access to the lab and its sensitive information.

The Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) says it has beefed up security at the Level 4 lab in Winnipeg after the incidents. However, it appears that concerns remain.

This is especially the case after the publication of more documents that are considered for placement. These documents show that these two scientists were sensitive to the lack of information protection and cooperation with Chinese government institutions.

The release of these documents has raised questions about why these probes had access to sensitive information for so long. Comments are also made on what can be done to prevent such occurrences in the future.
