A tentative agreement was reached with Union and Stellantis

After nearly eight hours on the picket lines, Unifor has announced that a tentative agreement has been reached at all Unifor facilities, including Windsor.

The union continued to negotiate in Toronto as more than 3,500 workers took part in a protest rally on Monday.

"It's pretty bad (here), but we're willing to do whatever it takes to fight for what we want," Pickett captain Shawn Bezier told. "(This is a) first strike for me and probably for most (workers) at the facility."

According to Stellantis officials, the last time a Windsor assemblyman was out of a job due to work disruption was in 1986.
Bezier said the requests include agreements previously signed with Ford and General Motors, and he said members are hoping for improved pensions.
