A man is hospitalized after being stabbed following a fight in Toronto's east end

A man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after a stabbing in east Toronto.

Toronto police were dispatched to Green and Danforth streets just after 12:30 a.m. Saturday.

An hour before this incident, a man was shot at Danforth and Woodbine streets. There is no suspicious information in either case.

The investigation is ongoing and police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
