Nearly 300K Honda vehicles from 2017 to 2020 recalled over engine failure risk
Honda is recalling nearly 300,000 vehicles in Canada for a fuel pump defect that could lead to engine failure.
According to Thursday's announcement, approximately 297,836 vehicles in Canada are affected, including popular Honda and Acura models from 2017 to 2020 such as the Accord, Civic, Odyssey and RDX.
Approximately 2.6 million vehicles are also affected in the United States.
"Honda has not received any reports of accidents or injuries related to this issue," the company said in a statement. "Canadian owners of affected vehicles will be notified of this safety recall by mail in February 2024."
