York Region rapper arrested by Orillia OPP on drug trafficking charges
The Orillia Street Crimes Unit (CSCU) conducted an investigation into an individual believed to be involved in street-level drug use in Orillia last summer.
Police say the suspect was a popular social media rap artist who recruited youths and used them as vehicles to transport drugs throughout Orillia.
Police believe the suspect, who is wanted for domestic firearms related offers, was responsible for a significant amount of cocaine, fentanyl, methamphetamine and other drugs entering the city.
On December 13, CSCU Orillia OPP, with the assistance of Orillia OPP's Community Mobilization Unit (CMU), arrested the 28-year-old suspect from York Region.
