Dog-friendly bus service in Calgary turns daily park trips into a unique business
A Calgary family has launched a creative pet-care service by converting an old school bus into a mobile dog shuttle called Ruff and Puff. The bus travels through suburban neighbourhoods, stopping at homes to pick up dogs and take them on supervised trips to local parks.
The project was created by dog trainer Denzel Morrison and his mother, who also runs an animal rescue. The bus is equipped with safety harnesses, small gates between seats, and plenty of treats to keep the dogs secure and relaxed during the ride.
Morrison says spending his day with dogs is “a dream job,” adding that he has loved dogs since childhood. The unique business has quickly gained attention in Calgary, offering owners a convenient and safe way to ensure their pets get exercise and social time.
