Tim Hortons credit cards are coming
The Canadian chain of restaurants and coffee shops Tim Hortons (Tim Hortons) announced in a press report that it plans to launch its credit card service.
This system helps loyal customers earn Tims points faster and get more free coffee, drinks and food. Tims credit cards will be issued in the coming months, according to the news release.
The cards are a no-annual-fee Mastercard offered by Neo Financial, a financial technology company. The credit card will be fully integrated with the restaurant chain's app, allowing users to apply, get approved and check their balance from their phone.
The cool thing is that you can earn points wherever you shop with this card, with up to 5 points per dollar on most gas, grocery and transportation purchases, and up to 15 points per dollar spent. Dollars when using this card on eligible purchases at the chain's restaurants and coffee shops and Tims Rewards scans.
It should be noted that the company says it offers a version of this credit card to Canadian residents who have limited or no credit history, such as students and newcomers, to earn points and help them build credit.
