Stay home from Halloween parties if you're sick
Ottawa Public Health is asking people to stay home from Halloween parties or if they are sick due to the high level of Covid-19 in the community.
In an update on the respiratory disease situation in Ottawa, the health unit says levels of COVID-19 are "very high" and have increased this week, while levels of RSV and influenza are increasing.
OPH said on social media: "This is a good reminder that if you're not feeling well, please stay home - keep this in mind for Halloween parties.
Ottawa Public Health says the positive rate for Covid-19 in Ottawa is 12 per cent. There are 18 outbreaks of Covid-19 in long-term care homes, nursing homes and public hospitals.
