Roaming chicken on the TTC subway train
In a video posted on Tik Tok this week, a chicken can be seen roaming the TTC subway line.
Finally, the well-behaved chicken is picked up by its owners and placed in a bag before getting off the train.
"We've seen some interesting animals roaming the TTC ... from crabs, water dogs and snakes to pigeons, but this is the first time we've seen a chicken," TTC spokesman Stuart Green said.
In 2016, a raccoon was spotted trying to board a train at Spadina Station during the peak of the morning rush hour.
Per official TTC policy, leashed dogs or pets kept in an enclosed cage may be on weekends and holidays before 6:30 a.m., 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and after 7 nights, ride the TTC.
