Ontario people are surprised by the price of Halloween candy in grocery stores
With the cost of many products increasing in Ontario supermarkets, Halloween-related product pric hikes also seem commonplace this year. However, a new video on Tik Tok shows that some items in local stores have become so expensive that consumers are nervous and shocked by price hikes at their local retailers, including the price of Halloween candy.
Video recorded by a user at a Sobey's store shows that a 16-pack of chocolate bars cost $23.99 before tax. This video has reached nearly 500,000 views so far.
