Mortgages, inflation and immigration top concerns for Canadians in 2024
As the new year begins, Canadians' top concerns for 2024 are the cost of living and immigration, according to a recent survey by Nanos Research.
The survey found that half of Canadians with mortgages are "worried" or "somewhat concerned" about payments, 35% of respondents want the House of Commons to prioritize living costs, and up to 61% of respondents want it. Canada should accept fewer immigrants.
More than 1,000 Canadians aged 18 or older were surveyed for the survey from December 27 to 29, 2023.
