Mont McNaughton Ontario Minister of Labor
The office of Ontario Premier Doug Ford announced on Friday that Minister of Labour Monte McNaughton is stepping aside from politics.
McNaughton, who is the third minister to resign from Ford's cabinet this month, appears to be resigning unrelated to the controversy surrounding the construction issue in Greenbelt.
Ford stated in a statement, "I want to express my profound gratitude to Monte as one of the key members of our team, both as Minister of Infrastructure and most recently as Minister of Labour, Training, and Skills Development."
