Massive wildfire in Jasper National Park now being held, officials say
** Authorities have announced that a massive fire at Jasper National Park, which sets about one -third of the historic city of Jasper, is now under control. **
The fire, which burned more than 33,000 hectares of land, was for nearly four weeks, but the firefighters were gradually able to contain it.
"Today, all sacrifices, teamwork and efforts have succeeded," said Jonathan Laraj, commander of the incident for Canada Park.
