The family of a Montreal woman killed by a drunk driver is calling for more laws in Quebec

The family of a young woman killed in a hit-and-run crash with an undercover driver is pushing the Quebec government to toughen its driving laws.

Elizabeth Rivera said: This is a loss that no one can do. "No one should have to experience [it]."

Rivera lost her daughter, Jessica Sarelli Rivera, in 2017 when the car she was in crashed with a drunk driver.

The man who killed her had 2.08 milliliters of alcohol in his blood -- more than twice the legal limit.
