Subscribers of all Canadian mobile operators now have access to the Toronto Metro 5G network

Rogers Communications has announced that 5G service is now available for all TTC (Toronto Transit Commission) commuters in downtown Toronto. Representatives from the telecommunications company stated that subscribers of all major Canadian mobile carriers can connect to the 5G network for calling, texting, and streaming within the TTC subway system.
5G services extend to all stations and tunnels in downtown Toronto, spanning from Bloor-Yonge to Spadina, including the Dupont station. Additionally, it covers 13 stations between Keele and Castle Frank, along with the tunnels between St. George and Yonge stations.
This announcement comes one day earlier than originally anticipated, as the federal government's deadline for Rogers to roll out advanced services to all mobile subscribers had been set for Tuesday, October 3rd. Rogers subscribers have had access to the 5G network at the mentioned stations and tunnels since August.
