IKEA Canada is slashing prices on hundreds of other popular items in response to the cost-of-living crisis

In order to deal with the cost of living crisis, IKEA Canada has reduced the prices of more than 800 of its popular products to make its products more affordable for Canadian consumers. These measures have been taken in order to solve the concerns of 45% of Canadians regarding the financial situation of their families and 37% of them are concerned about the economic situation. Ikea CEO Selwyn Crittendon has emphasized the brand's commitment to offering products at affordable grocery prices, announcing that the company has invested more than $80 million to lower prices on items such as Kallax bookcases and Malm bed frames.

For the convenience of customers, Ikea has now made it possible to pay in four interest-free installments through the Afterpay service. These actions are in line with IKEA's "democratic design" philosophy, which emphasizes affordability and thus strives to make products more accessible to Canadian consumers. In addition, Ikea is working to help Canadians in difficult financial times by ending the tax on second-hand items.
