Bitcoin reached $60,000 for the first time in two years

The price of Bitcoin, as the largest digital currency in the market, has finally crossed the $60,000 mark again after two years. This digital currency has experienced upward growth in the past few days and it seems that this trend will continue.

The last time was on November 12, 2021, when the price of Bitcoin reached above 60 thousand dollars. At that time, after this record, the downward trend of this digital currency began and its price finally reached $19,297 with a 67% fall.

The increase in the price of Bitcoin is largely influenced by the Halving event or the halving of the reward for mining each block in its blockchain. With this, there is usually a wave of demand to buy this digital currency and the price goes up.

According to reports, the all-time high price of Bitcoin is $69,000, which dates back to November 2021. Now, according to the market conditions, it should be seen whether it will be possible to reach this price and even pass it again. According to platform CoinGecko, the value of all bitcoins in circulation this month surpassed US$2 trillion for the first time in two years, while the price of the token itself doubled in just four months.

Investor and software company MicroStrategy announced this week that it had recently bought about 3,000 bitcoins worth US$155 million, while social media platform Reddit said it had bought small amounts of bitcoin and ether.

Meanwhile, the price of the world's second-largest cryptocurrency, Ether, rose 3.2 percent to $3,353, a two-year high.
