A Jewish school in Montreal was shot overnight for the second time this week

Montreal police are investigating a second shooting incident at a Jewish school in the western part of the city this week.
Police say they received multiple calls about a shooting near Yeshiva Gedola Montreal, located on Deacon Road in the Côte-des-Neiges neighborhood, at around 5 a.m. on Monday.
When officers arrived, they found bullet impact marks on the building and bullet casings on the ground nearby.
No one was injured. Veronica Dubuc, a spokesperson for the Montreal Police Department (SPVM), says witnesses reported seeing a vehicle fleeing the scene at the time of the shooting.
No arrests have been made yet. Dubuc said the police cannot confirm whether anyone was inside the building at the time of the incident.
A secure perimeter has been established for investigation. Mayer Feig, a member of the Hasidic Jewish Council of Quebec, says the shootings at schools are intended to intimidate the Jewish population of this city.
Feig said, "They want to create fear in the community. This has no place here in Quebec, Canada, or Montreal. We have conflicts thousands of miles away; don't bring it here."
