Knife-wielding person on TTC bus
A man armed with a knife attacked a TTC passenger and followed him, Toronto police said in a statement on Wednesday.
Police officers were called to the area of Birchmount Road and Ellesmere Road on Saturday, June 15 at around 2.10pm.
According to investigators, the victim was on a TTC bus when he was suddenly attacked by a man he did not know. The fight escalated and the suspect pulled out a knife.
The victim got out of the bus and ran away, but the suspect followed him. Eventually, the victim was able to get back on the bus, but the suspect ran away.
The suspect is described as about 45 years old and about 185 cm tall. He was last seen wearing a brown hoodie, dark glasses, red pants, black shoes and a black and white backpack.
