Toronto Mayor Olivia Chow's approval rating has dropped significantly, according to a new poll by Leger.
Only 43% of respondents approve of her performance, while 43% are dissatisfied and 27% strongly criticize her performance.

Analysts say the main reasons for this dissatisfaction are the rising cost of living, high rents and the housing crisis.

In contrast, the younger generation has a softer view of her policies and has not yet lost hope that the city will improve under Chow.
