On the morning of Wednesday, October 29, at around 3:40 a.m., several masked and armed men entered the home of Maryam and her two daughters and stole a significant portion of their belongings.
In addition to the financial loss, the family is now facing severe fear and psychological trauma and has not received adequate support from the police.
The family’s 18-year-old daughter was waiting for a 911 call for two minutes at the time of the incident, and police only arrived after the attackers had fled.
