The remains of the missing man from Richmonddale were discovered
The York district police homicide unit has found the remains of a missing 30-year-old man from Richmond Hill and declared his cause of death as murder. Kevin Bonada Rojas was last seen at his home on Elmwood Street on June 21, 2018. His family reported him missing on June 26, 2018. His disappearance was considered suspicious, and the homicide unit initiated their investigation in April 2021. On June 5, 2023, human remains were discovered in the backyard of a residence on Elmwood Street. The forensic examination confirmed that these remains belong to Kevin Bonada Rojas. The police have requested the public to report any information they may have.
