The police are looking for a person who attacks people with a syringe
Toronto police are looking for a 43-year-old man who attacked people with a syringe near Young-Dundes Square.
Police were called to the area of Young Street and Dundes Street West around 3 p.m. Tuesday. It is said that the suspect approached people from behind and attacked them with a syringe and inserted it into their bodies.
He was last seen entering the subway at Young-Dundes. The person who was injected with a syringe was taken to the hospital, but the police did not disclose the severity of his injuries. According to the police, the suspect and the victim did not know each other.
Investigators have identified the suspect as Aaron Chomenchak of no fixed address. He is wanted for assault and battery with a weapon.
Chomenchak has short dark hair and a beard. He was last seen wearing a dark hoodie, orange pants and brown shoes.
Police are warning the public not to approach the suspect and to call 911 if they see him.
