Someone in Ottawa won $70 million in Lotto Max
According to provincial lottery officials, the winning Lotto Max lottery ticket was sold in the nation's capital on Friday night, and someone in Ottawa won a lottery ticket worth $70 million. Friday night's winning numbers are: 01, 04, 18, 19, 23, 28, and 29. The bonus number was also 43. The last two tickets for the $70 million Lotto Max prize were also sold in Ontario, one in the Kawartha Lakes area in February and the other in Toronto in April.
Four $1 million Maxmillions tickets were also won Friday night, one in Etobicoke and one in Cornwall. An encore ticket worth $100,000 was also sold to someone in Mississauga.
