Snow Valley ski resort opens its doors for the new season: what to expect from the first day
Snow Valley Ski Resort has officially started the new season of winter sports.
After receiving severe weather conditions over the past week, with Environment Canada issuing a blizzard and blizzard warning for several areas in Simcoe County, this means the start of snowboarding season for people across the region.
This year, Snow Valley has invested $1 million in improving its snowmaking system, and snowmaking operations have begun.
"Our hardworking snowmaking team has taken every opportunity to work with nature to provide ideal conditions for all guests," the Snow Valley team said in a statement.
