Scarborough apartment building fire sends 1 woman to hospital: Paramedics
A woman was taken to the hospital following a fire in an apartment building in the east of the city.
The fire broke out in a fifth-floor unit in the apartment building near East Lawrence Street and Kingston Road.
Toronto Fire told CP24 that a TTC bus was dispatched to shelter those displaced by the fire.
Paramedics confirmed that a woman was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The fire is currently out and crews are working to clear smoke from the building.
