Rent a bed in the middle of the kitchen in Brampton
Although the rental price in Toronto and its surroundings may have decreased somewhat in recent months, it does not mean that the rental price has become affordable for people.
The latest "creepy rental" to be spotted recently is a room for rent in Brampton for the very low price of $350.
Although the price is great, considering that the average rent in metropolitan Toronto is currently around $2,700 per month, there are some very glaring flaws with this unit that some believe make it unlivable. The only photo that exists of this rental unit shows that the tenant's room is actually an underground kitchen with a single bed placed between the column and the wall and the head of the bed is a few centimeters away from the kitchen sink and counter.
"Now you can literally wake up and smell the coffee!" one person joked in a Reddit comment.
This isn't the only weird thing that's been up for rent in Toronto. From bunk beds and shared bedrooms to shared beds, many landlords rent them out to people on a budget.
