In October 2025, parents in the province of Quebec will be able to receive up to $1,400 in child support. This amount is a combination of federal and provincial benefits, paid quarterly.

💰 Federal benefits (Canada Child Benefit - CCB)
If the family's net income is less than $37,487, parents can receive the following maximum benefits:

$666.41 per month for each child under 6 years old ($7,997 per year)

$562.33 per month for each child aged 6 to 17 years old ($6,748 per year)
These amounts gradually decrease for families with higher incomes.

🏠 Provincial Allowance
The provincial allowance is also calculated based on the family's financial situation:

Two-person families with an annual income of up to $59,000: $3,006 per year per child
Single-parent families with an annual income of up to $43,000: $4,061 per year per child
Families with an income of over $250,000: $1,196 per year per child
🎒 School supplies allowance
For children aged 4 to 16, an allowance of $124 per year is provided for the purchase of school supplies

Resident in the province of Quebec
Have filed their 2024 tax return on time
Be responsible for the care and upbringing of a child under 18
