Police are looking to identify a woman whose body was found near Lake Ontario
Peel Regional Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a woman whose body was found along the shore of Lake Ontario in Mississauga. Police officers were called to the Ritchie Crescent shoreline on March 25, 2024, based on a report that a woman's body had been found.
A police spokeswoman said that despite investigators' efforts, fingerprint comparisons and a search of the federal missing persons database, police were still unable to identify the woman.
She is described as a woman in her 50s to 60s, about 152cm tall, with a medium build, black and gray hair and false teeth, wearing a black top, black yoga pants and boots.
Anyone with information that could help police identify the woman and locate her family is asked to contact investigators.
