Man and woman charged with manslaughter in death of infant in northern Ont.

On May 8, the Wikokamekong Tribal Police Service began an investigation when an infant was taken to the hospital. The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was called to assist in the case on May 15. "Assistance was provided under the supervision of the OPP's Criminal Investigation Branch with support from the OPP's Manitoulin Separate Unit," police said in a news release Tuesday.
