Inclement weather shuts down Vancouver-area ski resorts
A cold weather system along the southern coast of B.C. Ski resorts forced the local mountains to perform their services.
Cedar, Seymour and Gross mountains have all issued severe weather warnings that could disrupt service.
Cedar Mountain and Seymour Mountain posted on social media that the mountains were closed on Tuesday due to the weather.
According to the snow report, 0 cm of snow has fallen since Tuesday night. The data shows that the mountain has received a total of 137 cm this season.
It shows similar conditions with zero centimeters of snow in 48 hours and just six centimeters in the past week, for a season total of 149 centimeters.
The mountain issued a warning warning that the downhill ski area was closed at 5pm on Tuesday.
Grouse Mountain's website continued that they are facing challenging snow conditions.
Snowforecast.com shows that all three mountains are expected to receive snow on Friday.
