Immigration Minister announces new rules to prevent international student fraud
"Marc Miller, Canada's Minister of Immigration, has announced that new laws will be implemented to strengthen the protection of international students against fraud and deception. The Immigration Department has established a task force in June 2023 to review a plan that was approved back in 2017. This plan requires universities to submit acceptance letters for international students to the Immigration Department, starting from December 1 of the current year."
