Canucks forward J.T. Miller taking 'indefinite leave,' team says
Vancouver Canucks forward **J. T. Miller** has taken an "indefinite" leave of absence from the games for personal reasons. This news was announced a few hours before the team's game against the New York Rangers, and his absence is a significant gap in the team's composition.
Patrick Alvin, the team's general manager, said in a short statement:
"Right now, our main focus is to make sure J. T. It has the full support of the organization. Out of respect for him, we will not comment further at this time."
In the team's previous game against the Nashville Predators, Miller played only 11 minutes and 41 seconds, which is the shortest time he played in Vancouver. In the third period of this game, he entered the field only twice.
When asked if Miller's reduced playing time could be related to his preseason injuries, head coach Rick Tochet said, "No. "He was not one of the players that I think could bring us back into the game."
In this game, the Nashville team managed to beat Vancouver with a score of 5-3.
This news has been announced while the Vancouver team is dealing with other challenges. Brock Boozer, the team's right winger, has been sidelined with an upper body injury, and star goalkeeper Thatcher Demko is out indefinitely with a knee injury.
