Canadian doubles star Dabrowski wins spot in Aussie Open quarterfinals
Canadian doubles tennis star Gabriela Dabrowski and her teammate Erin Rotliff from New Zealand advanced to the quarterfinals of the Australian Open by defeating Jiang Xinyu and Hanyu Gu from China.
Dabrowski and Roteliff won the match, which was held in Melbourne on Sunday, with the result of 4-6, 6-1, 6-3.
Dabrowski and Roteliff are the defending Australian Open champions and are currently ranked fourth in the women's doubles world rankings.
In the quarter-finals, they will face the winner of the match between "Alexandra Panova" from Russia and "Cristina Boca" from Spain or "Taylor Townsend" from America and "Beatrice Haddad Maya" from Brazil.
In 2023, Dabrovsky won two Grand Slam titles in the US Open and Wimbledon.
